Terri ARNETT
Author, Singer / Songwriter
On June 24, 2002, a chartered bus contracted by Metro Church from Garland, Texas, was headed to Louisiana State University for church camp. At  9:10 a.m. outside of Terrell, Texas, it veered off the highway crashing into a concrete bridge support pillar, ripping the bus in two and killing the driver and four teenagers. Terri DeShazo-Arnett’s son, Jeremy, was a passenger. Thrown outside of the bus Jeremy’s twisted and broken body lay motionless while emergency crews gave attention to others, believing he was dead.

This is a story of a mother’s profound love, her faith tested again and again, and of God’s triumphant power shining through in the most desperate of times. In honest, vulnerable terms Terri relives the days when she and her family struggled to overcome each negative prognosis for Jeremy’s recovery, and instead stood steadfastly on God’s Word for his complete restoration.

This book will stay with you long after you close the last page and capture and inspire you to believe for your own miracles!

I'm not a Christian but I was really touched and inspired by the sentiment and groove that you put on your music and that voice - WOW! Surely Christianity at it's very best. God must be on your side. I'm touched. God bless.

I watched the video many times and it just makes me think how lucky I am to have healthy kids and grandkids, and makes me feel so bad for those who have to go through this type of tragedy.  I have the utmost respect for all of you, and Jeremy has had so much courage through all this.  He is truly an angel from above.

Terri, thank you so much for sharing your book, and your story with me.  How inspiring!  As you know, we had a great response after we had you on as a guest.  May God bless you as you continue to share the story of you and your son!

What a story! Just the events are enough to make a box office hit, but the real story is the one of the power which only God can give. Terri is the genuine thing when it comes to test and testimony!  Her book tells the story from the inside. You will do well to help her spread this story of hope to a hopeless world.

This book is a wonderful, inspiring testimonial to the power of faith.  The story of her son's struggle to overcome a near death experience is nothing short of miraculous. She gives a truthful account of the inward journey which brought both her and her family through the many agonizing days and weeks after the event. This book is a must read for all who have had doubts or questions about their personal beliefs.

I am an associate with the Mardel store in Mesquite.  I’ve just read your book – what a blessing it is to me and to the customers who have bought it; we can’t keep enough on our shelves.  There’s no way I can ever know what you’re endured, but you and I know the same Lord who got you through it.

–Robert Sanderson

A heart wrenching and realistic account of this mother's battle to keep her son alive after a tragic church bus accident that killed four people.  You can’t put it down. A must read.

I saw your story today on the 700 Club.  My niece was in a car accident about three weeks ago and they are saying she may be in a vegetative state for the rest of her life. She is going to be 16 on July 7 and we are devastated.  Your story gave me hope.  I truly feel God will heal her and it will be a total healing just like Jeremy’s.
–Gracie Brown

Your music is very touching. Such a naturally beautiful person inside and out without pretense. God bless!

Jesus didn't come to explain hardship.  He didn't come to do away with sorrow.  He came to fill agony with His divine presence.  He came to heal the brokenhearted.   I know because He healed mine.  If you need healing or encouragement, this book is for you.
